The Donna Francesca 100% Italian Tomato Passata is created to tell the story of the Puglian summer through a simple, everyday gesture: bringing the authentic taste of ripe tomatoes to the table.
It is the result of a short supply chain, fresh artisanal processing, and carefully selected tomatoes grown and transformed in full respect of their natural timing.

The tomatoes, 100% Italian and grown in Puglia, are harvested at peak ripeness, when the sun has concentrated aromas, natural sweetness, and vibrant colour within the flesh.
Processed just a few hours after harvest, they are transformed into a velvety, intense, and naturally well-balanced passata.

For our tomato passata, we use only carefully selected raw ingredients and artisanal processing.

The quality of our passata begins in the field.
The tomatoes are selected directly at harvest and irrigated with naturally slightly salty water, typical of Puglia’s coastal areas, which helps give the fruit a natural savouriness.
After harvesting, the tomatoes are washed, blanched, and passed using gentle processes that respect the structure of the fruit.
The passata is then jarred and pasteurised, without the addition of preservatives, sugars, or thickeners, in order to preserve the fresh tomato’s aroma, colour, and organoleptic qualities.
